ASSAS: An automatic smart students attendance system based on normalized cross-correlation

چکیده

A smart student attendance system (SSAS) is presented in this paper. The divided into two phases: hardware and software. Hardware phase implemented based on Arduino's camera while the software achieved by using image processing with face recognition depended cross-correlation technique. In comparison traditional systems, roll call, sign-in sheet, proposed faster more reliable (because there no action needed a human being who its nature makes mistakes). At same time, it cheaper when compared other automatic systems. provides faster, reachable for an that monitors generates report automatically.
